Online Law Degrees at English Universities
- The University of London offers an online bachelor of law (LLB) course covering 12 subjects in areas such as common law, criminal law, public law, land law, tort law, law of trusts and legal theory. Students can complete their degrees in three to eight years. This online law degree is internationally recognized. The fees in 2011/2012 range from £2,426 to £3,921, depending on the programs chosen.
- The Open University offers an online bachelor of law (LLB) course in partnership with the College of Law. The course provides an online law tutor, face-to-face or online tutorials with other students, assignments marked by your tutor and electronic resources. The course provides three learning options for those with few educational qualifications, high-school graduates and students who have already obtained degrees. - The University of Leicester offers online master's of law (LLM) courses in European Union Law and Employment Law. Applicants are required to have graduated with first- or second-class honors degrees. The university is particularly interested in applicants from professionals and people with work experience. The courses, completed over a two-year period, include a number of weekend classes and tutorials, of which students are expected to attend at least two. The fees in 2011/2012 for the online LLM courses range from £3,667 to £3,965.
- Teeside University offers an online bachelor of law (LLB) course that is usually completed in three years but may be extended for as long as eight years. Students require three high school A Level passes or equivalent to be eligible for entry.
