Yummy Meringue Layer Cake Recipe for Passover and Gluten-Free Diets
Because cakes normally are made with flour, they aren't suitable for Passover, but this stunning dessert contains no gluten and is perfect for the holiday or for anyone with gluten issues. This recipe is from "A Taste of Pesach" (ArtScroll/Mesorah Publications, 2014). This dish, along with more than 150 others, is featured in a book that was born out of a pamphlet fundraiser for a Jewish high school. Beautiful photographs enhance this book that includes something for everyone, especially those who follow a gluten-free diet. But, for those who have no religious or dietary issues, there also is a gebrokts section with recipes containing gluten. Here are two more recipes from the book reprinted with permission.
