• The northern Florida coastal town of St. Augustine is the home of Crescent Beach, an area with great opportunities for many kinds of outdoor recreation. Faver-Dykes State Park

• The Faver-Dykes State Park, seven miles from Crescent Beach, Florida, is bordered between Pellicer Creek and the Matanzas River. The 30 campsites have water and electric hookups, plus a picnic table, barbecue grill and campfire ring. The campground also has an RV dump station and hot showers, along with a picnic area that includes a playground, two covered pavilions, picnic tables and grills. The park's activities include wildlife viewing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as boating, fishing, bicycling and hiking on one of the half-mile loop trails. Moses Creek Conservation Area offers more recreational opportunities for fishing and boating, as well as wildlife viewing and horseback riding.

St. Augustine Beach KOA

• Located six miles from Crescent Beach and next to Anastasia State Park is the St. Augustine Beach KOA campground. This campground offers Kamping Kabins, 50-amp RV sites and tent sites, each with its own grill and picnic table. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, free cable and hot showers, and the camp store sells propane. Guest activities include fishing in the lake, horseshoes, bocce ball, and rental of paddle boats and surf bikes. The beaches at Anastasia State Park, five minutes away, offer windsurfing, hiking and beach-combing, Nearby St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park and World Golf Village offer more opportunities for fun.

Ocean Grove Resort
