Activate Windows XP via Internet

• 1). Click the Start menu. Select the "Accessories" menu. Then select the "System Tools" menu, finally selecting "Activate Windows" to begin the activation process.
  
  
• 2). Choose the "Yes, let's activate Windows over the Internet now" option.
  
  
• 3). Read the privacy statement carefully, then click the "Next" button.
  
  
• 4). Choose the "Yes, I want to register and activate Windows at the same time" option if you want to register Windows during the activation process. Otherwise, choose the "No, I don't want to register now; let's just activate Windows" option. Click the "Next" button to continue. When complete, you will receive a message stating that the activation process has been successful.

• 2). Select the "Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to active Windows now" option.
  
  
• 3). Read the privacy statement and then click the "Next" button to continue.
  
  
• 4). Follow the on-screen prompts until you are given a telephone number to call for Windows activation.
  
  
• 5). Enter the activation code given by the customer service representative. Windows will then inform you that it has been successfully activated.
