Here is a look at the Source Device Setup list.
As you can see, you have room for up to six external devices that can be labeled by name. Your choices are: Cable TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Blu-ray, DVR, Game, Apple TV, CD, and other. There is no specific order they need to appear on the list, but I would list them in order of how often you use them.
As you select each source device, you will be taken to another menu (not shown in this gallery) where you designate which input (HDMI 1 etc..., Video 1 etc..., Audio 1 etc...) you have the device connected to.
After that is complete, your device selected will done using the device name, not the input name. In other words, you don't have remember whether your Blu-ray Disc player is connected to HDMI 1, 2, or 3, you just select Blu-ray Disc player.
After you have completed the source list, you have also completed the initial setup process and are now ready to enjoy some entertainment!
