How to repair frosted or foggy plastic headlight lens

Inspect the lens and see if they can be repaired, worst case you'll have to toss them and buy new parts. My head lights are off of a 96 Dodge Stratus and were fogged pretty bad. I used a blue shop paper towel and folded it over twice and dampened it with some paint thinner. I wiped the lens several times to clean it off and smooth the surface of the plastic. - 2
Then I sprayed two coats of clear coat paint on them, letting them dry about 10 minutes between coats. - 3). Let them dry for at least an hour and then install them back into the car. Try your lights and see if it's all better!
