I will attempt to show the most effective exercises to lose weight, reshape your body, and get a slim and attractive figure without rigorous exercises and training regimes.
I'd like to dispel a great myth that has long since existed about this topic: Doing a specific exercise for a certain body part will not reduce fats in that part.
For example, ab crunches do not burn abdominal fat or fat around the waist.
However, this will tone down the muscles, which will be visible once you have lost all the fat around the abdomen and waist.
Similarly, doing bicep curls with weights will not directly burn fat accumulated along arms or doing squats will not reduce fat on your legs.
Doing specific exercises is good, but the results can only be seen once you have lost most of the body fat.
Hence first lower your body fat level and then carry out specific exercises to tone that particular body part.
The following are some of the tried and tested ways of reducing overall body fat: Running Outdoors Pick a place like a park where there is plenty of space and greenery.
It is usually more fun than being on a treadmill or other stationary exercise equipments.
Also, you can breathe fresh air, which will enable you to run longer, get rid of stress, relax your body and most importantly helps you stay fresh throughout day.
You also burn more calories because you have to move your whole body while exercising.
Bicycling (stationary or outdoor) This is another effective exercise to burn fat.
Not only it burns fat, it also strengthens the muscles of your legs and increases your cardiovascular endurance.
If you decide to bicycle outdoors, it is advisable to do exercise in low / medium intensity for longer durations to avoid any injuries or exhaustion.
On the other hand, if you prefer the stationary bike, choose exercise of high intensity and short duration, which is an intense and effective way to increase your stamina, fitness, and help you burn fat faster in shorter period of time.
Weights and Resistance Exercises If you want to lose weight and also tone your body along the way, then you have to do exercises with weights and resistance machines.
Resistance exercise lets tone muscles and burn calories for up to 72 hours automatically even while sitting.
Your Favorite Sport If you have a favorite sport like soccer or basketball, then continue it as often as you can.
This way you will not have to do another cardio exercise (although it essential to do resistance exercises with weights and machines).
If you choose this option, remember to do it with a frequency of 3 or 4 times a week, working yourself enough so that you burn calories and improve your overall condition.
