How to Export Filemaker Pro 7 to Excel
- 1). Open the database in FileMaker Pro 7 and choose the layout you would like to use for exporting.
- 2). Select the "File" menu and choose "Save/Send Records As" and "Excel."
- 3). Choose a name for the file you wish to export in the "Save Records As Excel" dialog. Choose either ".xls" or ".xlsx" as the "Save as type." Select ".xls" if you use a version of Excel prior to Excel 2007.
- 4). Choose a location to save your file, as well as the contents and the frequency you would like to save. Modify your Excel options by clicking "Options" and by changing the default settings to suit your needs.
- 5). Click "OK" and "Save" to finish the export process.
