FlightProsim or Xbox 360?

The real question to ask is Game or Realism? First let's look at the Xbox 360.
Until recently (23 Nov.
2010) there have been roughly 10 flying games designed for the Xbox 360.
At least 6 of them are WWII vintage air combat games.
The planes you fly are limited and the scenarios are set, you really can't expand or change them.
You fly through imaginary rings in the sky, these are games that once you fly a few "missions" you've basically flown them all.
They are simply games and don't come close to comparing to flight simulators.
In Nov.
2010 "Apache: Air Assault" was released.
It is a serious attempt at competing with flight simulators.
In fairness it is a pretty good attempt.
Graphics are good and the helicopters handle like their real life counterparts.
You can play it like a game where your flying is controlled, your weapons reload automatically.
As long as you keep your altitude up the scenery is great but if you lose too much altitude and hover near the ground the level of detail drops dramatically and the scenery becomes bland and boring with stark buildings and repetitive scenery.
The weaponry is true to life enabling you to carry out true to life missions.
The Helicopters handle like their real life counterparts, that being said you are able to go through three stages of flight.
As a Novice the game is forgiving and small mistakes are allowed.
As you progress to Realistic and then Veteran the jump in handling is enormous and you really get a feel for how these vehicles fly.
Learning to fly one of these planes is essential before progressing through the three stages of difficulty.
The drawback is being limited to flying Helicopters only.
Now Flight Simulators! The FlightProSim offers real life cockpit controls, sloping runways, thousands of airports and freedom to fly anywhere in the world using any plane you choose.
Flight simulator games or airplane simulator games are the order of the day and FlightProsim is definitely one of the best simulation packages that are available in the market today.
Setting this simulator above all others is the range of aircraft that you can practice in and get a feel for.
You have a choice of 80 different planes, and new ones are constantly being added.
So, you can be rest assured that you can fly almost every kind of air plane.
Flight simulators are used to train professional pilots.
The handling of the aircraft is as realistic as possible with cockpits identical to their real life counterparts.
With realistic accessories like joy sticks your senses will tell you, you're really flying.
And when you sit down in the real thing for the first time you will feel right at home.
When you choose a fighter to fly and engage in air combat your heart will be racing, you are fighting for your life.
Herein lays the difference between the two.
Although both are exciting in their own right, the flight simulator is much more than a game.
It is a true educational program which teaches you how to fly.
When you have mastered the aircraft of your choice, if you were to fly in the real life counterpart, you will be confident in your training needing only an experienced trainer to guide you through the real life process and the flying hours to qualify for your license.
So are you looking for a game or a life changing challenge? Flight Simulator
