How to Remove Plastic Tile From Bathrooms
- 1). Start at one end of the room and pry up the corner of a plastic tile with a metal scraper.
- 2). Lift the tile with your hand once you have enough room to squeeze your fingers under the tile. If the tile should break, use the metal scraper to pull up another edge.
- 3). Use a pry bar for any stubborn plastic tiles. Slide the pry bar under the tile and use a hammer to gently tap it under the tile until it is raised.
- 4). Repeat steps one through three until all tiles are removed.
- 5). Heat the adhesive left behind with a hair dryer to loosen it from the flooring.
- 6). Spread goo gone over the area where the tiles have left adhesive. Scrub with a brush or rag to remove any leftover adhesive.
