The 5 Tips For Healthy Skin
Taking care of your skin is very important.
Most people use various products that's more than likely not going to work.
And if it does work, you are obligated to continue buying the products in order to keep your skin looking decent.
Me, I prefer not to use products.
What some people don't know is that using skin care products and make-up for a long period of time can cause a lot of damage to your skin.
Growing up, I've seen several of my family members that were using make-up for a long period of time cause discoloration to their skin.
Some areas of their face would be a lot more lighter than the original tone of their skin.
The 1st Tip for healthy skin is to not treat it with anything.
I mean, its OK to use cleansing soaps, for example, such as neutrogena; which is what I use.
Which brings me to the 2nd Tip for healthy skin; always keep your face clean.
Do not clog your skin with make-up are anything of that nature.
Go buy a bar of neutrogena (or whatever your preference of cleansing soaps), and use it on a day to day basis.
The 3rd Tip for healthy looking skin would be drinking a lot of water everyday.
Your skin can become very dehydrated and would start to look dry.
I would suggest to at least drink 8 cups of water throughout the day.
Drinking sodas on a day to day basis can cause your skin to break out dramatically.
Sodas are very high in sugar and acid.
So drop the soda habits!! The 4th Tip for healthy looking skin would be eating low-fat meals.
Eating meals that are high in fat can also affect the way your skin looks.
I mean look at celebrity L.
L.
Cool J, the guy is like 40 years old and now he looks like he is in his 20's.
The reason being, is that he changed his diet to eating fruits, vegetables and health drinks.
Now he looks a whole lot younger than he did 5 years ago.
Last but not least, my 5th Tip to healthy looking skin..
...
Stop smoking!! I've seen so many of my friends destroying their appearance simply because they can't stop smoking.
It doesn't matter how much you smoke per day; either way you are destroying your appearance, your skin (due to smoke dehydration) and you are causing yourself to age.
And what I mean by aging, is that you are making yourself look a lot older than you suppose to look.
I'm 27 and my friends (that smoke) that are the same age as me look like they are already in their 30's.
I started smoking myself when I was 18.
And I smoked frequently for 6 years.
Until one day I looked at myself in the mirror, and I didn't like what I saw.
The date was 12/31/2005, and I decided as my New Years Resolution, was to stop smoking and start taking care my skin and health.
Since that day I haven't smoked for 3 years.
I've been following my 5 Tips everyday and I look and feel like a new man.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
