We Are The Temple Of The Living God
God has said that He will dwell in us so we need to become aware of His presence in our everyday life and not see Him far away in the distance.
When we pray we need to be aware that He is right there with us living in us and hearing us.
The word said in Deuteronomy 28:8 the Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
When we lay our hands on something we should see God's hand being laid on it as well and we know that if His hand is laid on it then it will prosper because there is no failure in Him.
If our bank account is low, why not lay our hands on it believing that God's hand is on it with ours.
I believe that if we would do that, then money would come to us because the living God lives inside of us.
If sickness has attacked our body then we should lay our hands on ourselves believing in our heart that the hand of God is being placed upon us and we will be healed.
1st Corinthians 3:16-17 read do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.
For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
For a long time I have read this scripture thinking that it was asking the question, which temple you are but I notice that there was not a question mark at the end of the word are but a period; so that is a statement saying that we are the temple of God.
If anyone defiles us, God will destroy him.
That is a powerful statement but true because God dwells inside of us and we are His anointed.
In fact He said, touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.
How are we defiled? We are defiled when the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy what belongs to us so what we can do when that happen is to lay our hands upon our belongings but when we do that, we need to see God's hand on it with ours and those things will be restored to us.
You might say, well I do not have it anymore so how can I lay my hands upon it? You can do it in the Spirit and it will be restored to you or something else seven times better than what you had.
The bible said that we are more than a conqueror; we are because God lives inside of us and it is He who is more than a conqueror.
There is nothing that is too hard for Him to do and He will do it through us if we would lay our hands upon it believing that His hand is on it with ours.
