Tap the “Settings” icon from the home screen and then select “General” from the menu list.

Tap “Siri” and then slide the toggle to the “ON” position to enable Siri for the first time.

Press and hold the “Home” button until the microphone icon appears and beeps.

Give Siri an order or ask a question. Wait for Siri to process what you've said and perform the given task.

Tap the microphone icon and restate your request if Siri did not understand you correctly the first time.
