How to Remove Safe Mode From Windows XP
- 1). Click on the "Start" button. This is found in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.
- 2). Click on the "Turn Off Computer" option, then choose "Restart." If you have other programs open, the computer may ask if you want to close those applications. Be sure to save files in those applications before closing them down.
- 3). Tap the "F8" key as the computer is rebooting. "F8" is located above the numbers on the top of most keyboards.
- 4). Wait for the Windows Advanced Options menu to appear. This is a black screen with white lettering that gives you several options of how to start your computer.
- 5). Select "Start windows normally" using your arrows keys, then press "Enter" to make the selection.
- 6). Allow the computer to boot normally. Applications, files and your Windows screen will appear.
