    • 1). Print out a parabola template. Cut it out with scissors.

    • 2). Cut out a cardboard rectangle approximately six to eight inches wide and one foot long.

    • 3). Cover the cardboard rectangle with aluminum foil and cut the foil to fit. Glue the sheet of foil to one side of the cardboard rectangle.

    • 4). Cut three horizontal slots in the top third of the cardboard rectangle. Cut three horizontal slots in the bottom third of the cardboard rectangle. Bend the cardboard rectangle towards you slightly.

    • 5). Insert the three horizontal tabs on the top of the parabola template into the three horizontal slots in the top third of the cardboard rectangle. Insert the three horizontal tabs on the bottom of the parabola template into the three horizontal slots in the bottom third of the rectangle.

    • 6). Tape the complete parabola antenna to the end of the antenna on your wireless router.
