Basic Bracelet

• This is the simplest macrame bracelet that uses methods used in many different styles of macrame. First two cords are folded in half to form a double cord. Knots are then tied over and over again to create a long pattern. In some forms of the basic macrame bracelet, the knots may result in a twisting pattern. Halfway down the bracelet a bead is added. This can be made from a seashell or a jewelry bead. Once it is the appropriate length, it is knotted and trimmed.
  
  

Faith Bracelet

• A faith bracelet is a type of macrame bracelet with a repeating cross theme. These bracelets are made from colors with specific meaning in the Christian tradition. Black represents sins, red represents the blood of Jesus, white represents purity, blue represents the water in which we are baptised, green represents spiritual growth, and yellow represents heaven. The bracelets are made of a series of square knots with crosses weaved in using the different colors.
  
  

Floss Bracelet

• A floss macrame bracelet is recognizable for its diagonal patterns. This is not difficult to achieve if one is familiar with macrame. The left cord is wrapped one by one across the other cords so that after each knot it is slightly lower than it was on the previous cord. The causes a tiny stair-step pattern that appears like a diagonal line. This is repeated and then all the cord is knotted together and trimmed to finish the bracelet.
  
  

Christmas Bracelet

• The Christmas bracelet is a normal macrame bracelet with a Christmas tree in the center. This bracelet is made of green and brown cord. Tie a series of square knots until you are ready to make the tree. Then reverse the inner and outer cords so that green is the visible color. Create square knots again, only this time push the cord against itself so that there is some loose cord to the sides. This is what creates the triangular shape of the tree. You can also add small red beads to represent ornaments on the tree.
