Danish Dating Site Disapproves the Chubbies
Many of you know that dating today has gone on to a more advanced level. The site requires interested people to become members first before they can meet and date other members. And in accordance to the site's name and reputation, a major requirement is for potential members to be good looking. This means, you have to be beautiful and in good shape in order to be accepted.
Unfortunately, the site has to eliminate some of its members at the start of the new year 2010. And just so you know, those who were axed from the website numbered more than 5,000. The reason behind such action? Those unlucky people gained weight and became chubby in physical appearance. Blame it on the recent Christmas holidays that saw these members eating a lot of their favorite food and sweet treats.
The managing director of BeautifulPeople.com said the management only responded to calls by other members who have gained pounds in their photos after the Christmas and New Year celebrations. For this reason, the management had to move the chubby members back to the stage. In other words, they need to apply again in order to be accepted.
People applying to become members are normally being voted by current members to determine if they're good looking enough to be part of the dating site. Of those who underwent review, more than 5,000 didn't make it due to the weight they have gained. Those rejected include 1,520 people from the U.S., 832 were British and 533 were from Canada.
