How to Host an Exciting Jungle River Party for Kids

103 30
Jungle Rivers found in different parts of the world are full of mystery, but not a lot of people get a chance to tour them.
For children who love the great outdoors and the wild animals that live in them, this is just the right theme you need for their birthday party.
To send out the perfect invitation, you just have to find the right template online.
Look for a vector illustration of a jungle guide in a khaki uniform and paste it over a drawing of a lush jungle river backdrop.
Print this in a hard card stock and punch a hole in the upper right corner of the paper.
Design a rectangular card that looks like a river boat ticket and place your party details here.
Punch a hole in the right hand corner of this paper piece as well.
Attach the two with a plain abaca or just a simple twine.
Location is the key in making this a one-of-a-kind party.
It would be so much better if there is a river near your area so that you can have the party there.
If this is not possible, you can set this in a large backyard or a woodland clearing.
To simulate a river, you can either use fabrics or plastic to make the rippling effects.
Don't be afraid to play jungle river sounds in the background.
Even go as far as create a remix if a premade one is unavailable.
The area where you are going to set your tables and chairs should look like the river boat dock.
Your furnishing should be made from wood and other organic materials.
Don't forget to set some lounge or bench chairs at the side.
At one side of your venue, fill the area with plants.
You can settle this on spots where there are a lot of trees to begin with.
Hide sound speakers in the foliage and play sounds of animals found in these places.
If you have the materials, you can also build some temporary huts or mini camps in clearings.
You can also buy miniature plastic animals and scatter them all around the place.
You can also use animal stuffed toys or blow-up animals.
To help the children enjoy the party more, you can dress some volunteers as camp guides.
Teach these guides to tell jungle river stories, as well as adventures of the people who live here.
You can also ask someone to teach jungle survival.
For older kids, this would be the right time to teach them what to do when they are going to be stuck on an actual river jungle.
Before your guests would eat, you can have a little survival contest to make sure that they have learned something.
For other fun games, you can play Animal Rescue.
Your jungle river boat company is not just a business, but it also aims to help the animals nearby.
The game is basically like a scavenger hunt, but your guests would have to specifically find a certain animal, and not just one from the same species.
Put a ribbon in the stuff toys that must be found; they stand for animals that have already been domesticated.
Those that don't have the ribbon are still wild.
If they would pick these untamed animals out, your guests would be considered as injured.
Therefore, they will not be eligible for the prizes.
The food you serve in this party should both be festive and whimsical.
You can make some jungle wraps.
These are made from soft taco shells, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
Your guests can choose between tapir meat made from ground beef and toucan meat from chicken.
You can also serve fish fillet and call it piranha surprise.
The best drink to serve is a jungle punch made from fresh fruits.
You can also feature a jungle native brew made from homemade chocolate drink.
A simple way to enjoy the jungle river party is to serve an exceptional sweet treat.
This can be done by baking and designing some unique alligator cupcakes.
To decorate it beautifully, just ice the top with some green buttercream icing.
Form an alligator's head from fondant.
You can make this from three different shades: forest green, lime green and olive.
Include details like small icing eyes and fangs.
You can also stick some edible reeds by forming it from toothpicks.
Use your imaginations and you'll enjoy your wild jungle river party.
