The first thing that you can do in order to get acne free skin is to eat a well balanced and healthy diet; make sure that you keep fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts into your diet and stay away from eating too much junk food and try to cut down on caffeine, refined sugar and carbohydrates; these activate hormones that make your skin much more oily than normal.
By drinking lots of water, you also maintain your skin's elasticity and help to remove toxic wastes from the body.
Eight glasses of water in a day is ideal, and make it a habit to carry around with you a bottle of mineral water so you would always have something to drink when you want or need to.
Another way that you can get acne free skin is to make sure that you get regular exercise.
This is because regular exercise helps improve your blood's circulation which improves the delivery of oxygen as well as nutrients to the skin, improving its texture and appearance.
Another important and often neglected tip for an acne free skin is sleep.
A good night sleep recharges the body's immune system, which plays such an important role in keeping bacteria from multiplying out of control, and giving you not only more numerous pimples, but ones that take longer to heal as they occur deeper in the skin.
Try to sleep 7 or 8 hours a night or at least rest that many hours.
Sleep deprivation has shown to contribute to emotional stress and anxiety build-up, something that can also have an effect on breakouts on certain individuals particularly when is prolonged.
Get into the habit of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your face in order to get rid of impurities as well as exfoliating every other week in order to get acne free skin.
You need to make sure that you have removed all of your make up, washed with a gentle and oil free cleanser and warm water, don't rub your face dry after you have washed but pat it down with a warm and clean towel after which use a toner to further get rid of impurities and then finish with a moisturizer.
Every couple of weeks, it will be advisable to use an exfoliant in order to wash away all traces of dead skin cells which can accumulate and along with oil plug pores and cause pimples.
One more way that you can achieve perfect acne free skin is to always protect your skin from direct sunlight and harsh weather conditions.
When you have to go out, and the sun is set high above the sky, make sure that you wear sun block that has, at least, an SPF - 15 UV protection and always wear a wide brimmed hat when you go out.
