How to Stop Furniture From Moving
- 1). Turn furniture on its side to expose the bottom of the furniture legs. Leave awkward or heavy furniture pieces in place and slip a paper under the leg to trace a pattern. Use a marker to trace the shape of the leg.
- 2). Place the paper with the pattern on it on top of a rubber opener for jar lids. Trace the pattern. Use scissors to cut the shape of the furniture leg onto the rubber opener. Jar lid openers are flat and thin and used to grasp and twist off stuck jar lids. Openers are inexpensive and found in discount stores.
- 3). Use crafting glue to adhere the rubber to the bottom of the leg. Allow the glue to dry for one hour before placing the piece of furniture upright.
