Ozark Trail 6-by-5 Tent Instructions
- 1). Locate a flat area and remove rocks and sticks to create a comfortable sleeping surface. Remove the tent, poles and stakes from the stuff sack. Place a rock on the loose fabric to prevent it from blowing away while you work.
- 2). Spread the tent body out on the campsite. Use a rock to pound one stake through each corner ground loop. Pull the fabric tight as you go to create a smooth floor.
- 3). Assemble the two tent poles by connecting all of the individual sections. Slide one pole through each diagonal sleeve to create an "X." Place the ends of each pole in the corresponding grommet to erect the tent body.
- 4). Attach the exterior clips to the tent poles. This adds rigidity to the tent body. The clips also minimize sagging in wet conditions. The clips are attached to each of the corner seams.
- 5). Unzip the door and enter the tent. Inspect the fabric to ensure it is tight. Clip the mesh gear pouch to the loops located on the wall opposite of the door. Place your sleeping pad and sleeping bag in the tent.
