As a whole, the Eternals have many different cosmic powers. They have superhuman strength, with many being able to lift in excess of 15 tons. They have such a fine control over their bodies with the cosmic energy that they are almost completely unkillable, making them immortal.

As seen in the most recent series, acid, energy, falling, and many other ways have been used to kill the Eternals leader, Ikaris, but only to fail.
The Eternals also have many other fantastic powers, such as being able to fly and levitate others, being able to achieve speeds of hundreds of miles an hour. They have superhuman speed and are also able to teleport themselves, but can become taxed and even disorientated afterward. Their other abilities include being able to shoot beams of energy from their hands and eyes, telepathy, and they can also transmute objects, which means they are able to change objects from one thing to another.

Many of the Eternals have chosen to focus an aspect of these abilities further. Ikaris can fly faster then any others and Sersi has focused her transmuting abilities much farther than any Eternal. Makkari has focused his abilities to become extremely fast moving and Gilgamesh, the forgotten one, has focused on increasing his strength and durability.

Origin:

The Eternals are an offshoot of humanity that started over a million years ago. A group of space faring beings, known as the Celestials, who were so powerful that they could traverse through space without the aid of ships, came to earth to conduct experiments. Using their vast powers of cosmic energy, they created two offshoots of humanity, the Eternals and the Deviants.
The Eternals were humanoid in shape and were the evolutionary progress of humanity in years to come. The Deviants were mixed with other animal races and were twisted, both inside and out. The two races would be at odds for the rest of time, the Deviants looking to overthrow the Eternals and the world, while the Eternals looked to progress their society and protect earth.

The Eternals built a city, Titanos, and flourished, but everything changed when Uranos, brother of the Eternals leader Kronos, decided that the Eternals should be the ones ruling earth and the Deviants. He raised an army to do just that, but Kronos opposed him, and a civil war broke out. Kronos won the battle and exiled Uranos and his followers into space. They exiles eventually settled onto Saturn?s moon Titan.

After this, Kronos dedicated himself to science. It was during one of his experiments with cosmic energy that there was an explosion, destroying Kronos? body. The energy radiated out and awakened the cosmic energies that helped form the Eternals, giving them incredible powers. They were immortal, could fly, teleport, had incredible strength, among other powers, including telepathy, which they used to create the Uni-Mind, a collection of the consciousnesses of the Eternals, allowing them to act as one.

The Eternals continued to thrive and grow, building three other cities upon the earth. The civilization of the Eternals continued to get bigger under the leadership of the new leader, Zuras. This would change with the return of the Celestials.

The Celestials had come to judge their creations. Fearing the Eternals and the Earth would perish if they failed; Zuras rose up against the Celestials. The Celestials defeated the Eternals and killed Zuras, but spared the Eternals. The Eternals decided to leave Earth and formed the Uni-Mind, exploring space for new wonders and knowledge. A small contingent of Eternals stayed behind to protect Earth.

Lately, many of the Eternals have forgotten who they were and are living among humanity as mortals. Only their new leader, Ikaris seems to know who they are and is trying to help his fellow Eternals remember. The Deviants have kidnapped Ikaris and are trying to find a way to kill the Eternals leader. The fate of the Eternals hangs in the balance if they don?t remember who they truly are. Only time will tell.
