Dale "snort" Snodgrass Partners With Alldaron At Swisspl Watch Company.
SwissPL was formed by Alldaron Knewitz in March 2010. Being a private label Swiss watch company, SwissPL offers a unique opportunity to manufacturer single customized Swiss made timepieces for about $1,000 each. Till now that was not available from Switzerland, if you wanted your own timepiece you would have to order between 300 to 500 units; provided you could find the manufacturing company. This kept all but the most dedicated and wealthy people out of the Swiss watch industry. Some then produced watches in China; though cheaper in cost, usual minimum quantity is 10,000 units.
Alldaron has been in the watch industry for about 10 years now. He noticed the trend shift from retail to online long before the Swiss watch industry cared. In 2005, along with his father Jon D., he formed a Swiss watch company being sold exclusively online at a time when people said it wouldn't work, "no one would buy watches online" was a common reply.
From 2005 to 2010 they sold tens of thousands of watches online to satisfied customers, reflected in the thousands of positive feedbacks they received each year. Their business approach was more personal in nature by focusing on customer service over profit and by building a caring friendship with their customers. In 2010 they sold the company to an investor.
In 2007 Alldaron was attending the Wings Over Miami Gala event where he had the pleasure to meet legendary Navy F-14 Top Gun pilot and renowned air show performer Captain Dale Snort Snodgrass, or "Snort" as is his call-sign. Snort has over 4900 flight hours and 1200 plus carrier landings in the famed Grumman F14 Tomcat. Snort is the most experienced Tomcat pilot in the world and a highly decorated combat veteran. At the end of Desert Storm, he was promoted to Navy Captain and was selected to command all Tomcats in the US Navy.
Dale is the only pilot approved to fly in both the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight Program and the U.S. Navy Legacy Flight Program. Dale and Alldaron had a similar attitude towards business and partnered for a special edition Wings Of Gold watch, which was produced in limited quantity. Throughout the years, they formed a friendship and when Alldaron started SwissPL he contacted Dale, who was immediately on board.

They utilize only the best materials and machines and only hire experienced watchmakers. SwissPL's manufacturing partner produces extremely high quality timepieces rivaling brands costing thousands more for a 10th of the cost. The manufacturer produces their own line which sells in Europe, Asia and the Middle East as a recognized luxury brand ranging in price from $2,400 to $5,800.
The watches SwissPL offers are 42mm in size, constructed of surgical-grade stainless steel alloy with a 22mm steel Oyster bracelet with solid end-pieces; clasp with professional diving extension and screws (not pins). The glass is sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating. The numbers and markers are in Super-Luminova phosphorous (glow in the dark) paint. The watch is pressure tested to 1000 feet (300 meters).
Attending multiple invite-only reunions and military events, Dale and Alldaron are working with U.S. military units from the Navy, Air Force and Army producing custom timepieces for them. Many great partnerships are in store for the near future for the SwissPL.com team including a major racing partnership, and a Hollywood film project.
