Why I Love Android
The phone was huge, way bigger than my iPhone, so I was not to happy about that. Until, I realized why it was so big when I turned the device on. The screen is huge and pushed out a great, bright picture. I could get used to this. Then I started opening apps and checking out the phone. Multi tasking was a breeze, very much unlike the iPhone, the camera was awesome, 8MP. This thing was a beast. Apple phones had worse cameras, worse screen resolution, small screens, and no multitasking. The 4g only worked in some spots so I was mostly using 3g, which was pretty quick. Watching videos on the phone was a much better experience then on the iPhone because of the screen size. The phone specs were just better. The phone I have now is the HTC Sensation 4G and it is a better version of the EVO. It has a dual core processer, better screen resolution, and a better battery. One of the best parts about Android is that many companies make phones using the software, compared to Apple where only Apple makes the phone. There are so many choices so you are going to find a phone that fits your needs. Another awesome thing is that new Android phones come out about every month, and that's at the higher end, compared again to Apple who release their phones every year or more. So if there is a dimension of the iPhone you can't stand, you have to wait a year to get a new iPhone, there will be a new better Droid next month you can get.
Apple iPhones also seem to always lack something when they come out. For instance the new iPhone 4GS that is coming out in a couple weeks is the first iPhone with an 8mp camera. There have been Android phones with this camera for over a year now. Another example is the lack of 4G in any of the iPhones. Androids first 4G phone came out about a year and a half ago, Apple's first 4G phone come out later this month. It seems to me that Apple holds back the best hardware available because they know people will buy their product anyways. Then they can come out with a new iPhone a year later with technology that is slightly better and people will buy it all over again. This is a very smart business move on Apples part, but as a customer this stinks. Why would you want to be jerked around and have to shell out $400 every year.
