How to Remove a Tablecloth Without Dropping Things
- 1). Remove all dishes, silverware and decorative items from the table. Lift the items up and off of the table cloth, don't drag them across the table cloth.
- 2). Pull the chairs back from the table so you have access to the sides of the table cloth.
- 3). Start at one corner of the table and lift the corner of the table cloth and fold it onto the top of the table. Repeat at the opposite corner.
- 4). Move to a third corner, lifting and folding the table cloth onto itself on top of the table. Repeat with the last corner of the table cloth.
- 5). Move to the long sides of the table and fold the table cloth up and onto itself on the table. Repeat on the opposite side and then on the two short sides. At this point, the table cloth should be fully on the table.
- 6). Fold the table cloth in half horizontally and then fold it in half vertically.
- 7). Take the table cloth outside and shake it vigerously to dislodge crumbs and debris. Bring the table cloth back in and drop it into the wash machine.
