How to Attract Single Men
- 1). Dress nicely and put on a good appearance. Stay simple, with a black dress and some cute shoes, or a blouse and pants, unless the situation calls for fancier attire. Look your best in order to feel your best and be more confident. Confidence not only makes it easier for you to approach men, but can be a very attractive quality in a person.
- 2). Visit local hotspots where single men go once or twice a week, with one or two friends. Local bars and clubs are popular places where single men go to meet women, so head to a popular one in your area on a Friday or Saturday night. Only bring one or two friends, though, because a large group can be intimidating for a guy to try and approach.
- 3). Smile and talk with your friend at the bar, or another comfortable area. Smiling and laughing shows that you are having a good time, which is attractive to the opposite sex. Men don't usually want to approach a woman who looks bored, annoyed or angry.
- 4). Limit your alcoholic drink intake to three or four for the evening. If your goal is to attract single men, then keep that goal in mind. While it's OK to have a few drinks and relax, overdoing it can turn you from sexy into a sloppily drunk woman that no man will want to pursue. Keep your wits about you and be safe by setting a drink limit.
- 5). Smile if you happen to lock eyes with a man you find attractive or interesting. This will make you seem approachable and attractive, while also showing a little bit of interest. In this case you may have a single man approaching you after this simple gesture.
- 6). Look him in the eye and listen intently if he approaches you to engage a conversation. This doesn't mean hang on his every word, but if you are interested, act like it. Looking around and not at him shows that you aren't interested and he will usually walk away. Attract by being open, friendly and nice, and listening and engaging in conversation.
- 7). Keep any conversation on a positive and light note. Don't complain, whine or talk negatively about things, as this can be a turn-off. Instead, talk about things like music or movies or even how much fun you are having. Avoid topics that can lead to heated discussion.
