We're not recommending you track down an antique carriage for your yard display, although it looks fabulous. But if there's something interesting in your yard already, like an old tractor, vintage piece of farm or yard equipment, etc., why not incorporate into your holiday decor? Festoon it with a garland of fall leaves, pumpkins, gourds and other seasonal or Halloween decorations. Just know when to use good taste.

A "porcelain throne" in the yard decorated with fall flowers probably won't have the same appeal as an antique carriage.
