How to Sync Subtitles
- 1). Create a new title card in the library bin of your video editing software, and insert the translated subtitle text into the text field of the title card.
- 2). Open the video sequence in which you want the subtitle to appear. Using the scroll bar, scrub to the first frame of the spoken dialogue that necessitates the subtitle.
- 3). Drag the corresponding subtitle graphic from your project's library bin to the project time line.
- 4). Position the graphic at the bottom of the video frame.
- 5). Scroll to the point in the video sequence in which the dialogue requiring a subtitle ends. Using the "cut" tool, cut the subtitle graphic at the dialogue end point.
- 6). Scrub through the video project sequence to ensure that the subtitle appears and disappears in the appropriate spot during character dialogue or voice over.
