Hike along the Florida peninsula on four of the Florida Division of Forestry's Trailwalker Hiking Program loops. The rugged trails include deep ravines and and waterways. Pack a camera with you when hiking in case a red-shouldered hawk or Florida scrub jay crosses your path. There is no access to water or a bathhouse onsite. The Walk in the Water Tract of the state forest is accessible on foot and encompasses an area of two miles with designated hiking trails.
