How To Adjust HDTV Settings
- 1). Press the "Menu" button on the HDTV's remote and navigate to the "Settings" section. Press "Enter" or "OK" to open the Settings page.
- 2). Highlight the "Brightness" setting in the menu. Lower the "Brightness" level so that the images that are black in color stand out from other colors but are not so low that you cannot make out the details on dark objects.
- 3). Highlight the "Contrast" or "Picture" setting in the menu. Change "Contrast" level to about 50 percent off the maximum value so that the white images have defined outlines and edges.
- 4). Scroll to the "Color" or "Saturation" setting. Move the level slightly to adjust color to your personal tastes. Do not change the "Color" setting too far off the factory setting to avoid changing the natural hues off the image on screen.
- 5). Press the "Menu" button on your remote to exit out of the Settings page.
