How to Design a Mug in the U.K.
- 1). Select one of the mug options from the Your Design website (see resources). The options are found on the left-hand menu. You can select a standard, heat-resistant, porcelain, or two-colour mug. Once selected, choose a layout for the side of the mug, upload an image and add text to the design. The designs for a standard mug start at £8 and include shipping.
- 2). Visit the Mug Shop site (see resources) and click on the "Photo Mugs" tab on the left-hand menu. Choose a layout for the mug. Scroll down and upload an image from your computer to print on the side of the mug. The image does not have to be a photograph. Include text to be printed on the mug in the "personalisation" box. Click next to confirm and pay for your order. Photo mugs cost £12.95.
- 3). Choose from the options for a personalised photo mug on the Personalised Mugs website (see Resources). These are on left-hand side of the page. Choose a design for the layout of your image and text and click "Get Started." Upload your chosen image on the next page by clicking the browse button under "Upload Your Image." Add text, choose a font and click "Add to Cart." Mugs cost £8.99 including delivery.
