A ride on this 19th-century funicular is an experience you won't soon forget.
Drive yourself to Central, buy a ticket, and then whoop with joy as the Polybahn makes its way up, from the tram station to ETH.

Ski by Train!
Ski by train? Is that even possible? The answer is yes--but only if you drive to the Hauptbahnhof in the winter.
Just buy a ticket for the train & skipass.
The train leaves in the morning, and returns by nightfall.

Travel on the Zürichsee by Steamship!
I can't even begin to describe how exciting this was.
First off, they don't make steamships of this kind anymore.
Secondly, you're not really limited to the steamship.
If you want, you can make your way down the lake on a small rowboat! To try the Zürichsee trip, just make your way to Lake Zurich.

Go Clubbing!
Now you may ask, "Club? Why? What's so special about clubbing in Zurich?" The answer is this: this Swiss city has the most number of clubs per capital in the whole of Europe.
That should give you a clue how the Swiss party! Naturally, there's no way you can visit all these clubs even if you are able to rent a car in Zurich.

Check Out Rhine Falls!
You can take the train, or you can drive yourself to Rhine Falls.
