How to Connect Two Media Centers
- 1). Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the networking port on one of the computers. Connect the other end into the other computer's networking port.
- 2). Click "Start," choose "Control Panel" and select "Network and Internet" on one of the computers. Click the "Network and Sharing Center." Click the "Unidentified network" icon.
- 3). Click the "Network discovery and file sharing are turned off" message that appears and choose "Turn on network discovery and file sharing." Enter an administrator password if prompted by the computer. The "Network discovery and file sharing" window will appear.
- 4). Select "No, make the network that I am connected to a private network." Icons associated with the two computers will appear in the "Network" window once the connection is made. Double-click a computer's icon to begin transferring files between the computers.
