Juliet's Flashback - The Ex

Juliet walks up to a building. The sign says "ACCESS INTO THE BIO-RESEARCH BUILDING. THE BIO-RESEARCH BUILDING IS AT A SECURITY LEVEL 5."
She inserts a card that says, "MIAMI CENTRAL UNIVERSITY. MEDICAL RESEARCH LAB. RESTRICTED ACCESS CARD. RESEARCH LAB A-4."

She opens the door and looks over her shoulder. She walks down a well-lit hallway and her phone rings. She quickly answers it in an almost whisper.

"Hello?"

"Dr. Burke?"

"Yes," Juliet says.

"This is Diana, calling to confirm your appointment tomorrow."

"Two o'clock, right?"

"Two o'clock. Dr. Alpert asked me to tell you that he's very much looking forward to meeting you."

"Me too," Juliet says and hangs up. She goes into a lab and quietly closes the door. She opens a case and takes out a couple of viles. The light goes on and she hides. She peeks around a desk to see a man and woman. The man kisses the woman.

Juliet's phone rings and she turns it off. She starts to crawl away but the man walks over and says, "Hello, Juliet."

She casually says, "Hey," and gets up. "Hey, Ed."

"Why, exactly, are you here?" he asks.

"On today's lab work, I got home and realized that I inverted some numbers."

"And it couldn't wait until the morning?"

The woman says, "Um, Edmund?"

"I'm sorry," he says, "how rude of me." He holds his hand out toward the woman and says, "Juliet this is Sherry. Sherry this is Juliet, my ex-wife. Juliet's leaving."

She walks toward the door, and he says, "Jules, would you please turn off the lights?"

Don't Let Him Fool You

"You haven't thought this through, Jack," Juliet says, "your plan's not going to work."
"Yeah," Jack says, "why's that?"

"Your friends aren't going to make it back to your side of the island, because we're not on that island. We're on a smaller island, two miles offshore."

He looks at Tom and Tom says, "'Fraid so."

"So why don't we see if we can come up with some kind of peaceful resolution?" Juliet says.

"A peaceful resolution?" Jack says.

"That's right."

"Is that what you call asking me to kill Ben while he's on the operating table? Make it look like an accident."

She looks at Tom. "That's ridiculous."

"She wants Ben to die," Jack says.

"Tom, he's lying."

Jack talks over her, saying, "She said that if I did it, she would protect me."

"Enough!" Tom says. "Juliet, get out."

"Tom, he's lying!"

"You said you can't stitch him up," Tom says. "Then you don't need to be here."

"Don't let him fool you," she says, "he'll never let a patient just die." She walks out.

Caged Others

Pickett paces in the cage. "Hey! Can anybody hear me?"
The man Juliet sent out of the operating room runs up and says, "What happened? Where are they?"

"Just open the damn cage," Pickett says.

Our Island

Kate and Sawyer run through the jungle, then come to the shore. They see an island across the water and Kate says, "That's our island?"
"What, you didn't believe me?" Sawyer says.

"We need a boat."

"Yeah, and some towels and a buffet lunch," Sawyer says.

"Let's just follow the shore, there's got to be a boat."
"Why don't we just stop and ask for directions?" Sawyer says.

Kate stops and presses the button on the walkie. "Jack, are you there?"

"Yeah."

"Are you okay?"

"Tell him I said hi," Sawyer says, "get to the point!"

"Jack, we need a boat. We need some way to get off of this island."

He looks at Tom and Tom crosses his arms.

Jack yells, "How do they get off this island?"

Kate looks at the walkie and Sawyer says, "What's he doing?"

Jack says, "Kate?" But she can't answer because the walkie-talkie is knocked out of her hand by rocks.

They turn around and Pickett runs out of the jungle. Sawyer points his gun and shoots. Jason and the other man run out with guns and Sawyer and Kate take off through the jungle.

They hide and Sawyer shoots, but his gun has no more bullets. Jason is about to shoot Kate, but is hit in the face by a rock. They turn to see Alex with a sling shot.

"This way," Alex says and they follow her through the jungle. Alex pulls up a covering over the ground and the three get inside. They watch the men look for them.

When the men are gone, Sawyer says, "Nice to meet you, Sheena."

Ben Wakes

"Is it true?" Tom asks. "Did Juliet really ask you to kill him?"
"Yeah, and in about 40 minutes she's going to get her wish."

"Hey," a groggy Ben says. "That's not helping anything. Now, could somebody please get Juliet?"
