The Wanted were formed in 2009 as a British boy band put together by Jayne Collins after mass auditions. Their debut single "All Time Low" went to #1 in the UK in the summer of 2010. It was followed by the #2 hit "Heart Vacancy," and a self-titled, gold-certified top 5 hit debut album. The second album, 2011's Battleground, included three more top 3 hits. •Max George

Max George was born September 6, 1988. He was previously a member of the boy band Avenue. They competed on X Factor in 2006. However, they were disqualified for having previous professional representation. Their debut single "Last Goodbye" was a #50 chart hit. The group disbanded in early 2009 and shortly after Max George joined The Wanted.

•Siva Kaneswaran

Born November 16, 1988, Siva Kaneswaran grew up in Ireland the son of a Sri Lankan father and Irish mother. He began modeling at the age of 16 and appeared in an acting role on the show Rock Rivals in 2008. Siva Kaneswaran's sister Hazel competed on Pop Stars: The Rivals.

•Jay McGuiness

Jay McGuiness was born July 24, 1990 and has a twin brother, Tom. As a young teenager he attended the Charlotte Hamilton School of Dance.

•Tom Parker

Born August 4, 1988, Tom Parker auditioned for X Factor but didn't make it past the first round. He learned to play guitar at age 16. Tom Parker took part in a Take That tribute band called Take That II prior to joining The Wanted.

•Nathan Sykes

As the youngest group member, Nathan Sykes was born April 18, 1993. He began singing and performing at age 6. He auditioned to represent the UK in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. However, he finished third in the competition.
