How to Add a Wood Panel to the Refrigerator
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Remove the handles from the door by unscrewing the screws that secure them in place with a Phillips head screwdriver. For door handles with endcaps, remove the screws holding the endcaps in place first before removing the actual handles.
2
Pull the protective backing from the foam adhesive pads and press against the surface of the refrigerator. Place three to four pads along the top of the fridge door and three to four pads along the bottom of the fridge door. Place two rows of three to four foam adhesive pads spaced evenly between the top and bottom roll of pads.
3
Slide the wood panel into the refrigerator door trim. Apply light pressure to the panel with your hand to attach the foam adhesive pads to the back of the panel.
4
Secure the door handles back on the refrigerator door with the original screws. Wipe the surface of the wood panel with a lint-free cloth.
