LED spot lights need a very small proportion of electricity to give a high level of output.
LED spotlights are environment friendly as they do not produce heat like other lights.
Good news is this that LED technology is still on the road of progress and we are very hopeful that higher efficacy diode chips will be appeared in the market in near future.
So it is better to replace old spot lights with LED spot lights.
