How to Make a Shell Mosaic Vase
- 1). Paint your container or vase with two coats of white paint. Set aside and allow to dry. Do not continue until the container is completely dry.
- 2). Arrange the shells on your table according to how you'd like to use them. For example, if you want to place like colors together, sort them together now.
- 3). Paint one side of the vase with decoupage medium. Take the shells and place them onto the vase in the pattern you desire on that one side. Press the shell pieces firmly onto the vase. Paint this side of the vase again with the decoupage medium to cover the shells. Allow this side to dry completely before proceeding to Step 4.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 until you have finished all sides of the vase.
- 5). Once the vase is completely dry, fill with water and place your favorite flowers inside. You have now made a beautiful egg shell mosaic vase.
