Grilled New Potatoes Recipe

This recipe is more of a potato salad, considering all the ingredients that goes into it. These potatoes make a great side dish for steaks or pork chops.

Garlic New Potatoes

Delmonico Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds/1.3 kg small red potatoes, skinned
  • 1/2 cup/120 mL thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup/60 mL olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons/45 mL Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons/45 mL parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL fresh oregano, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes


  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 10


Preparation
Cook potatoes in a large pot of boiling salt water until tender. Drain and cool. Preheat grill. Cut potatoes in half and place in a large bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and toss. Grill potatoes over a medium heat for 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Transfer to bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss. Season with salt and pepper.
