How to Make a Diaper Buggy
- 1). Stack two rows of size 1 diapers side by side with ten diapers in each row. Wrap the rubber band around both stacks to secure them together. Set them down with the tops of the diapers upright. Slide another diaper in the front in the middle and in the back of the stacks to round off the shape.
- 2). Wrap a burp cloth around the stack and tuck it in the rubber band to hide it. This will also make the buggy look as if it has a blanket hanging out of it.
- 3). Tie the ribbon around the diapers over the burp cloth edge. Make a bow with the ribbon either in the front or back of the diaper stack. Trim off the excess ribbon with scissors.
- 4). Stack about five or six diapers on top of the back end of the buggy shape. Tuck in a plastic lined bib upside down into the ribbon to hide the strings or Velcro tabs. Shape the bib around the stack of diapers to create the rounded canopy at the head of the buggy.
- 5). Place the small stuffed animal in the buggy with his back against the diapers under the bib. Tie a ribbon around the canopy with the stuffed animal to hold it in place. Make a bow in the front by the stuffed animal. Cut the excess ribbon.
- 6). Roll up two receiving blankets longways. Put them under the diaper buggy--one in the front and one in the back--to create wheels for the buggy.
