Making money online with blogging is actually easier than you might think it is.
It can be as easy as putting your website together, putting advertising on your site, and getting visitors to keep coming back to it.

Here's how you're going to need to get started:

• Find a web host - Finding a host for your web project is going to be the first thing that you will want to do when starting to set up your website.
  The web host is a place that will hold all of your files, the platform that you have chosen for your site, all of your email accounts, etc.
  You can find some web hosting companies that offer you great deals, usually at a yearly rate, and most have similar options available.
  You're going to want to shop around to make sure that you are getting the best deal, and also to ensure that you are getting only what you need.
  Some of the better-known web hosting companies are Blue Host, Host Gator, Host Monster, and even Yahoo offers web hosting.
  
• Decide on a platform - If your web host is your vehicle, then your platform is the engine that makes everything run smoothly.
  The platform is the program that you will create your blog with, and all available platforms have different features.
  There are many different platforms available, with the most common being platforms like Joomla, TypePad, Blogger, and WordPress - which is actually my personal preference.
  
• Set up your hosting account and install the platform - After setting up your host account and installing your chosen platform, you can go into your new website and customize the theme, adjust your colors, and even add some plugins that will help to manage your site.
  

After all of this is done, you are free to go in and start writing your articles which are also known as posts or content.
The more content that you are able to put together, the better chance that your website has of being successful.
Make sure that you pick a topic that you are interested in, or one for which you have some knowledge, that way you will be able to create several articles a week.
Posting several articles a week is one of the keys to a successful website as it allows the search engine robots to keep coming back to your site for your fresh content.

" There are companies out there that allow you to put their advertising on your website, and will actually pay you every time someone clicks on that ad.
So to put it in layman's terms, all you have to do to be on your way to making money online is to create a website, post some articles, put some advertising on it, and get people to come to your site.
