Features and Interface

• ArcSoft MediaImpression’s application interface divides your digital media into four categories, pictures, music, video and all media, under clickable icons. The application lets you edit photo files using a variety of tools including red-eye removal, dynamic lighting and face beautify; organize all media on your computer; edit and play video files including adding transition effects; and view all other media on your computer. You can also transfer media files to a rewritable CD for archiving. ArcSoft MediaImpression even lets you add tags to photos including the names of individuals in the photos and locations.
  
  

System Requirements

• The application requires an Intel Pentium 4 system or equivalent processor running at 1.6 gHz with 512MB of RAM or higher and DirectX 9.0c or higher. Your system also needs 300MB of free hard drive space, 64MB or more of graphics memory and a 16-bit color display with a resolution of 1024 pixels by 768 pixels or higher. ArcSoft MediaImpression is also compatible with Windows Vista, XP (Service Pack 2 or above) and Windows 2000.
  
  

Additional Components

• ArcSoft MediaImpression also includes a collection of built-in third-party components that let you upload your media files to video-sharing websites, online picture services and online photo-printing services. The application is also capable of accepting additional video codecs files that allow ArcSoft MediaImpression to play videos that the program was not originally designed to play. Codecs files instruct a media player on how to play a specific video file format.
  
  

Versions

• ArcSoft MediaImpression is also available in a high-definition version, ArcSoft MediaImpression 3 HD, that manages and organizes HD-quality videos and photos. The HD version also lets you share your files on social media networks including Vimeo, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr. ArcSoft MediaImpression 3 HD requires a system running an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or equivalent processor running at 2.13 gHz with 2GB or more of RAM. Your system also needs 300MB of free hard drive space, a NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT, Intel X3100, AMD Radeon HD3850 or equivalent graphics card, DirectX 9.0c or higher and a 32-bit color display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels or higher.
