How to spend an evening in Paris

Paris is the most romantic city in the World, so I've put together an idea of how to spend an evening in Paris to help make the most of your trip.

The first stop has to be the Eiffel Tower, it is the tallest building in Paris standing in at 1,063 ft - so it is not for those scared of heights! The Eiffel Tower has 3 floors that are open to visitors, with around 300 steps leading up to each floor, however the top of the Eiffel Tower is only accessible by lift. The entrance fee costs €13 for an adult and that includes the lift to the top. The Eiffel Tower is great to see at night and when you reach the top you can see all the bright lights over Paris, however in order to keep to the plan for the evening I would recommend seeing the tower at about 5pm, this should give you enough time to take all those pictures!

After trekking up and down about 600 stairs you would have built up an appetite and one of the best places to go for dinner (and entertainment) is Moulin Rouge! The current show is called 'Ferie' and features some amazing costumes that have been made in the most famous Parisian workshops. The stars of the show are the 60 Doriss Girls who perform some fantastic dances. I would recommend buying the dinner and show package where you can choose from 3 different menus - the prices start from €150 and it also includes champagne! Dinner is served at 7pm and then the show starts after at about 9pm. It really is a great experience and one not to be missed!

If you want to go somewhere different for a drink after the show then grab a taxi and go to the Ice Kube Bar which is part of the Kube Hotel. This is very similar to the Ice Bar in London and one of the trendiest bars in Paris. It costs around €38 for half an hour and that includes a parka, gloves and unlimited vodka. The only problem with this bar is its maximum capacity is 20 people so there's a chance you'll have to queue for a while so it's probably best to phone ahead!

If you are still looking for something else to do in the evening, one of the best things is to just walk around Paris at night, even if you've seen the tourist sites in the day it's so much more beautiful at night when they are all lit up. After your evening in Paris is over you will want to go back to a hotel and there are plenty of hotels in Paris to choose from just read some reviews before you make up your mind!
