Palmar Hyperhidrosis is a type of Hyperhidrosis which is nothing but excessive sweating of the hands.
This condition affects our daily work and other activities.
It is good to apply little lotion to the hand to avoid excess sweating and as well as preventing the hands from becoming too dry.
Palm produces more sweat when we become nervous or when there is too much of worry and stress in the mind.
Palmer Hyperhidrosis is a condition where the palm produces too much of sweat such that sweat flows out of the hand.

Sweaty hands respond well to even oral medications such as Drysol.
Surgery is opted only when the condition is severe and if none of the other methods work out.
The treatment that we go for in case of massive palmer Hyperhidrosis is thoracoscopic sympathectomy.
Palmer Hyperhidrosis is mostly of two types.
Primary Palmar Hyperhidrosis occurs when we become nervous, angry and fear for something.
Secondary palmar hyperhidrosis occurs due to some disorder such as infections, tuberculosis and other neurological disorder.
Diabetes, menstruation, menopause, hormonal changes, consumption of alcohol, plasma cell disorders, use of certain drugs, thyroid can also cause excess sweating.
To avoid such a condition it is good to avoid spicy foods.
For secondary palmer Hyperhidrosis a surgery may be required.
Exercise everyday and practice yoga to keep the mind stress free.
It is good to avoid alcohol and diabetic patients should reduce intake of sugar.
