How to Prune All-In-One Almonds
- 1). Remove any dead, diseased or damaged branches from the All-in-One almond tree at the branch collar, the area where the branch meets the tree. Use the loppers to cut off these branches.
- 2). Remove any crossing or vertical branches from the All-in-One almond tree. Cut the branches off at the branch collar with the loppers.
- 3). Head back any over grown branches. Cut the branches back to a viable bud within the confines of the other branches. Use the pruners to remove the branches.
- 4). Cut off any water sprouts, small spindly growth and suckers--branches growing from the base of the All-in-One almond tree. Cut these branches off at the base of the tree with the pruners.
