How to Repair the Radiant Heating Element in a Frigidaire Stove
- 1). Unplug the oven from the wall.

Take out all the baking racks from inside the appliance. Remove the screws that hold the element in place. The screws will be attached to brackets on the sides of the element. - 3). Tilt the element so you can see where the wires meet the element. Grip the wires with your pliers and remove them one at a time. They slide off. Take the element out of the oven and dispose of it.
- 4). Put the new element inside the oven. Attach the wires onto the new unit. Give them a squeeze to ensure they are tight. Replace the screws.

Put the baking racks back inside the oven, and turn the power on. Your Frigidaire appliance should now be working as normal.
