Hair Loss Depression to Motivation
O.
K.
, here goes: I'm 28 and already balding.
And I hate it.
But instead of doing what I've been doing for the last year - moping and just being angry - I figured it's finally time to do something about it.
I've tried a couple products, but nothing has worked.
At ALL.
And the prescription ones scare me a little, as I've heard about some pretty wild side effects.
And those are only the ones they KNOW about, you know? My point is: I understand the depression that can come with losing your hair.
Really, I do.
I know what it's like to be obsessed about your hair loss, wondering if they can see it.
"Did she notice it? Is she staring at my bald spot? How old does she think I am? Is my bald spot the reason she's not interested in me??" I get it.
And it's awful.
At one point, I actually moved past the whole wearing-a-baseball-cap-all-the-time thing and tried to not even go anywhere.
Thankfully, I now have a little more hope and I refuse to let it get me down like it used to.
Granted, it's summer time - and everything looks a little better when it's warm and sunny - but that's why I'm trying to do as much as I can about this while I'm feeling great.
Let's find that one product that works! Let's band together and demand a product that doesn't make hair grow on our foreheads or other ridiculous side effects.
Call me crazy, but I think the product already exists...
there just might not be enough support to get it released or the FDA doesn't know what to do about it because it's a really easy product to make.
No, I do not trust the FDA as much as some do.
I just want them to get this one right.
Better days are ahead for us.
