Check Volume Settings

• 1). Click the "Speakers" icon in the Notification are on the taskbar.
  
  
• 2). Move the slider up to increase the volume level. If you do not see the icon, click the arrow to the left of the Notification area and click "Show hidden icons."
  
  
• 3). Click "Mixer" and under Applications, move the "System Sounds" slider up to increase the volume level. If your MP3 file still does not play, continue.
  
  

Install, Update or Replace

• 1). Visit the MP3 player manufacturer's website and download any updates including appropriate audio codecs for the software. If your MP3 file still does not playback correctly, continue.
  
  
• 2). Visit the MP3 player manufacturer's website and upgrade the software version. If your MP3 file still does not playback correctly, continue.
  
  
• 3). Install another kind of MP3 player to play the MP3 file. You can search the Internet to find one; however, make sure it is compatible with your current hardware and is from a trustworthy firm.
