The number of tries are limited so make sure that the correct MEP code from your network provider is entered. This is also called the subsidy unlock code. - 4). Press the Enter key after entering the correct unlock code. This will unlock the Blackberry phone. Verify that the "Network" option in "Personalization" menu is in "Disabled" state. This means that the phone is unlocked and can be used with any network provider in the world. Reboot the Blackberry device for proper operation.
- 5). Insert a new SIM Card from another network provider and turn on all the wireless radio/network connections. The phone is unlocked successfully if incoming and outgoing calls can be connected or else contact network provider for solution.
