How to Rip iTunes From Another iPod
- 1). Plug the iPod into your computer as you typically would using a USB cord. If iTunes automatically launches, do not sync the iPod with your iTunes.
- 2). Go to "My Computer" from your computer's desktop or "Start" menu.
- 3). Double-click "iPod" from the "My Computer" mrenu. If the iPod is not listed as simply "iPod," it will typically be designated as another drive with a letter, such as "E" or "F."
- 4). Click on "Tools" from the top tool bar. Select "Folder Options," choose "View" and click on "Show Hidden Files and Folders." Click "OK."
- 5). Go back to the window where you opened up your iPod from the "My Computer" menu in Step 3. You should now see a folder marked "iPod Control." Open it.
- 6). Open the "Music" file within the "iPod Control" folder. Inside the music folder you will find all of the music files that are currently stored on the iPod. Folders will not be named by album or artists, but will instead be labeled by random numbers and letters such as "F00."
